About the Authors of Generous Kids
Meet Colleen Bowler and Lyn Baker; Colleen and Lyn share a passion for helping adults and kids “get it” about giving. Their combined experiences as parents, teachers, volunteers, scout leaders, tutors, administrators, and mentors have allowed them to influence many hundreds of parents and kids of all ages. Lyn and Colleen want to share with other parents these simple tools so they can teach their children the habit of giving.
Colleen Bowler, CFP®
Colleen has been a successful business owner for over twenty years. She is an exciting and sought after presenter who speaks nationwide on the topics of financial planning and balancing work and home life. Her clients enjoy her love of life and generous spirit as much as her expertise.
Colleen invests her time and resources in her community, church and her family which includes her husband Peter and their combined family of four children and grandchildren.
Lyn Baker, B.A., M.A.
Lyn has worked with students and parents for twenty plus years. Her work in education and administration in the US and abroad has produced an intense desire to see children thrive. Learning the habit of generosity is the foundation for a productive life.
Lyn has produced a series of workshops on best practices in parenting called Positive Impact Parenting. Her family includes two sons, Jonathan and Stephen.
